The Centre for Municipal Research and Advice (CMRA) is a dynamic consultancy firm in the field of local government within Southern Africa.
Our aim is to change the face of local government in Southern Africa, one municipality at a time by co-creating solutions and co-delivering on systemic development reforms in municipalities and localities at large.
We pride ourselves in being a partner to local government in South Africa, with strong international linkages. We play a critical role in partnering with development actors to harness the institutional capabilities and capacities of the local government machinery to ensure that the sphere delivers on its mandate all year round.
