Vaal CMA meets Dutch counterparts

During the week of 9th to 13th February 2015, the Vaal Proto-CMA met with its partner Dutch Water Authorities;Brabantse Delta (WBD), Dommel (WD) and Aa & Maas (WAM), Drinking Water Company, Brabant Water (BW)  and Municipality of Breda (MB).

The visit focused on reaching an agreement on the topics for future cooperation such as water quality management, licencing and reinforcement, CMS development, monitoring systems etc. The week involved a two-day workshop where the 11 proposed areas of cooperation were discussed, visits to Sasol – Secunda, Anglo American eMalahleni Water Reclamation Plant and Sibanye Gold Mine.
