CMRA conducted a training needs assessment for municipal public accounts committees (MPACs) in five municipalities across the Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga. The assessment engaged political and administrative leaders, evaluated individual training needs for oversight functions, and examined the roles of national and provincial oversight bodies — producing recommendations for the design of targeted capacity development programmes for municipal councillors.
