The project involved a research study which sought to answer: what benefit or value organisations i.e. civil society organisations (CSOs) involved in efforts to support or strengthen local accountability, derive from Open Government Data such as the kind provided in the Municipal Barometer.

The objective of this project was to gather reliable data which would indicate the perceived need and use of open government data among citizen groups.
