CMRA designed and implemented an accountability assessment project in KwaZulu-Natal that strengthened both the supply and demand sides of municipal accountability. Services included strengthening internal audit units, supporting performance management systems, building ward committee capacity, and establishing a Learning Network to share accountability knowledge across local government stakeholders.
