CMRA leads the domestication of the Climate Change Act in Ba-Phalaborwa (Limpopo) and Matjhabeng (Free State) Local Municipalities as part of a R13 million UK PACT-funded programme. CMRA leads overall project management and coordination, oversees technical experts, and acts as project secretariat — embedding climate governance within municipal systems, developing locally responsive climate change response strategies aligned with national policy, and integrating climate considerations into IDPs, Spatial Development Frameworks, and service delivery planning.
